Since 2018, we have been committed to addressing homelessness by providing high-quality hostel accommodation in partnership with Greenwich Council.

Building on this foundation, we are proud to expand our services to include supported living for adults with mental health needs, fostering independence and personal growth for those who need them.  We are dedicated providing services that ensure that every individual is valued, supported, and given the opportunity to achieve stability and a brighter future.

Supported Living Services

Building on our success in homeless accommodation, MOIDE now offers supported living services tailored to individuals with mental health needs, We adopt a positive and pro-active approach to care which recognises the changing needs of each individual; we are committed to observing “least restrictive practices” and will consistently seek to move individuals through their care pathway towards greater independence, as soon as it is safe to do so.   

Our models of care focus on re-enablement, positive risk-taking, therapeutic optimisation, relapse prevention, personalisation, enhancing quality of life, fostering confidence and self-esteem and using creative and flexible approaches to engagement. Our supported living provides a structured environment for individuals with diverse complex needs and behaviours that are likely to challenge, and we recognise the importance of creating an environment that promotes rehabilitation and recovery. We believe community integration is a prerequisite to the success of rehabilitation and recovery; therefore, we work hard to offer a variety of internal and external meaningful occupational and social activities.  Our services work with competent, qualified multidisciplinary teams to develop bespoke care plans centred on the needs, challenges and aspirations of each individual.

Moide Essentials Limited began its journey in 2018 through the operation of a homeless hostel in the London Borough of Greenwich, providing safe and supportive accommodation for vulnerable adults with diverse needs, including mental health challenges, learning disabilities, and sensory impairments. Formally established as a limited company in 2022, Moide Essentials has since evolved to deliver high-quality, person-centred supported living services tailored specifically to adults aged 18 to 65 with complex mental health needs.

Over the years, Moide Essentials has played a vital role in addressing housing insecurity within the Greenwich community by working closely with the Greenwich Council and community partners to create inclusive, supportive living environments. Through a holistic approach that combines safe accommodation with personalised care, mental health support, and skill development, Moide Essentials empowers residents to achieve greater independence, well-being, and social inclusion.
